LIBMAN RE: PROGRESS REPORT Mr, Adelson and Mr. Molasky asked that I communicate to the full Board a number of positive developments. The Nathan Adelson Hospice entered into a 50 year lease at $10.00 per year with the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. The hospice will be located on an approximately acre parcel at Swenson and Flamingo, adjacent to the UNLV athletic field. Valley Bank has agreed to loan The Nathan Adelson Hospice two million dollars required for construction and development of the hospice. Hie loan will be predicated on the personal guarantee from Mr. Adelson and Mr. Molasky. The loan will be further guaranteed by assigning all monies pledged to the Valley Bank. The architects have completed working drawings which will be put out to bid by the end of the month. Signing the lease, availability of debt financing and completion of architectural plans pre-stage the beginning of construction no later than the first of the year. In excess of a million dollars must still be raised. This will require a concerted effort by the entire Board of Trustees. We are going to need your enthusiasm and endorsement as well as your help in identifying any possible contributors. Please give this matter your most careful consideration. I am very pleased to report that Thalia Dondero has agreed to take on the responsibility of directly raising the additional funds needed.
