ROUGH DRAFT CF SUGGESTED FORM LETTER To the Subdivider Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Sir: In compliance with request contained in your letter of ____________ that this Company write you a letter stating that it will furnish water service to Subdivision now proposed by you, which is des­cribed as , please be advised that the Las Vegas Land and Water Company will furnish water pipe line facilities under the following conditions: If your company has made formal application for construction of water mains to serve your Subdivision (insert description or name of Subdivision) and you have agreed therein to enter intq a formal contract with us covering such construction under either of the following conditions: 1) Where you construct water pipe line facilities under private contract, at your own expense, under a formal agreement with the Water Company, in which you agree, among other things, to furnish us with a Bill of Sale upon completion and acceptance of said line and to comply with all other terms and conditions set forth in our usual form of contract. 2) Where you request the Water Company to construct said water pipe line facilities and will deposit the estimated cost thereof in advance, all in accordance with terms of the Public Service Commission Rule 9> and will com­ply with all of the terms and conditions contained in our usual form of contract. 3) That the Las Vegas Valley Water District has approved the construction of said pipe line facilities before con­struction is commenced. Copy of provisions to be contained in our form of contract, for either of the above cases, is available for inspection in my office and you will be required to acknowledge, in writing, under­standing of these provisions before requested letter is written. - General Manager LEM/dm
