    \ Ing as Richfield Oil Corporation, known as Land Company's Audit No. 4292, dated July 12, 1923, and all supplemental agreements in connection therewith; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. WHEREAS, this Board at its regular monthly meeting held January 11, 1 9 6 6 , unanimously adopted a resolution reading as follows: "WHEREAS, at the 1 9 6 5 Session the California Legislature enacted the District Reorganization Act of 1 9 6 5 which governs exclusively all procedures relating to annexations, detachments, dissolutions, and consol­idations with respect to all districts within California, as well as mergers of districts with cities, and re­organization of two or more districts; and "WHEREAS, the District Reorganization Act of 1 9 6 5 provides that petitions and protests filed under this Act by a corporation be executed by a legal rep­resentative of that corporation duly designated as such by resolution of the Board of Directors of such corpor­ation; and "WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 3^301 provides that petitions and protests concerning the organization of new cities on behalf of a corpor­ation must be signed by an officer of that corporation authorized to convey an interest in real property; "THEREFORE, on motion duly made and seconded, it was and is unanimously -5-
