211 LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of Dave Simon and DAVE SIMON AND JOE Joe Harrison at the Westside Liquor Store, 415 Jackson Street for HARRISON a sealed package liquor license be denied on the ground that there are no package liquor licenses available as authorized by a Resolution heretofore adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Clark moved that the gaming application of Dave Stearns DAVE STEARNS Santa Anita Turf Club and Bar, 113 Fremont, for one race horse book be denied on the ground that this license had been transferred twice before and that there are sufficient race books in the City of Las Vegas at the present time. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore voting aye. Voting no: Commissioner Whipple and Mayor Cragin. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time, Commissioner Clark moved that this meeting adjourn until March 5, 1948 at the hour of 2:00 p.m. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye.
