OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. February 11th, 1926. At a regular adjourned, meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, held on the 11th day of February, A.D 1926, at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Present His Honor the Mayor, J.F. Hesse, together with Commissioners W.B. Mundy, O.J. Smith and W.H. Elwell, the City Attorney, F.A. Stevens, and the City Clerk. Commissioner Hammond being absent. This being the time set by law for the preparation and adoption of a Budget for the year 1926 the Board thereupon proceeded to take up the budget and tax levy for the year 1926, in accordance with the provisions of the State of Nevada, and the matter being discussed at length it was ordered, upon motion being duly made by Commissioner Mundy, seconded by Commissioner Elwell, that the following Budget be adopted. Voting on said motion Commissioners Mundy, Smith and Elwell and His Honor the Mayor, J.F. Hesse, aye. Noes, none. NEVADA TAX COMMISSION PRESCRIBED FORM FOR CITY BUDGETS, 1926 Estimated Receipts and Expenditures of the City of Las Vegas for the Year Ending December 31,1926, as provided by Section 9, Chapter 42, Statutes of Nevada, 1923. ASSESSED VALUATION Cash on hand Jan. 1, 1926 13,633.34 Balance due on second halftaxes June 1926. 11,000.00 Poll taxes go to street fund Licenses and Fines to be divided as follows: Police and Fire $ 9,000.00 Administration General 5,740.00 Salary 2,250.00 Total 17,000.00 Thereupon the following Resolution was adopted by the Board upon motion of Commissioner Mundy, seconded by Commissioner Elwell: BE IT RESOLVED that the said Budget be signed in behalf of this Board by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk and the same be filed with the City Clerk and a copy thereof published in a weekly newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas , for two publications, one week
