Bennett: In regard to applying for permission to appropriate waters that may be developed by the new w ell being d rille d at Las Vegas, w i l l state that in 1924,1 signed the applications as Attorney fo r Las Vegas Land and Water Company, and as Attorney for LA&SLRR CO, and i f I remember correctly, the Board of Directors of these companies had to pass resolutions ra tify in g my actions. In order that the applications may be file d as soon as the w ell is completed, I wish you would please advise the name and address of the party who should sign the applications. I assume also, that in case it is necessary to f i l e an application for the Railroad Company, that it w ill be file d in the name of LA&SL RR Company, instead of UPRR Company. Leo A.
