S.R eiBnehnanredttt L1a s2 3-V1eg-a1s1 6- July 13# 1953 Will you please prepare usual form of refund agreement with Desert Development, Inc., a Nevada Corporation, whose address Is 1800 South 10th Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, covering construction of cast iron water mains and fire hydrant connections to serve Van Patten Tract No. 1, Las Vegas, Nevada as recorded in cook 3, Page 68 of Plats, Clark County, Nevada records. The location of said water mains and fire hydrant connections will be as Indicated on drawing which will be furnished by Mr. R, L. Adanaon. SUBDIVIDER AGREES: 1* At its own expense to furnish all necessary labor and materials and to construct: (a) 125 LF of 8" and 1290 LF of 6« oast iron water mains* 2. (b) Approximately 1 3 6 LF of 6 * cast iron fire hydrant connections. The cost of constructing said water mains (exclusive of cost of constructing said 136 LF of cast iron fire hydrant connections) is agreed to be the sum of %4»>83. Said water mains shall be constructed of 6* ulass 150 B A S cast iron pip© and shall be In accordance with Federal specifications ¥WP h21 Type 1. All joints shall be cement. All fittings shall be new, all bell cast iron equal to ASA Standard Class 250. All valves shall be double disk, parallel seat bronze mountings conforming to A W A standards, not less than 175 lbs., and all valve boxes shall be of cast iron of appropriate size for each valve.* Unless otherwise approved by a duly authorized representative of the Company, all pipe valves ana fittings shall be manufactured by the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with A W A specifications, shall be subject to the approval and acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall be constructed at an elevation to be designated by a duly authorized representative of the company, but in no event shall there be less than 36* of covering over such water mains. All workmanship, material and Installation of said water mains shall be subject to the approval and acceptance by a duly authorized representative of the company. 3. To stake water lines. if.
