Cory Please refer to Mr. Bennett's letter of June 25, 1953 submitting oopy of opinion and order of the Public Service Commission of Nevada in the case of I & S Docket #!>2, Case 1221 in which he raises certain questions as to amount of revenue which will be derived from the app­lication of rates ordered by the Commission In the above numbered case. I am submitting herewith an Amended Rate $21, dated »Suly 9, 1953 on the basis included in the Commission's carder. With regard to the difference in rates and amount of revenue which would result from application of rates as ordered by the Commission in this case as compared with the revenue which would have been derived from rates published in 1st Revised Sheet PSCN #3* effective December 1, 1952, suspended on November 26, 1952* prior to effective date, I have prepared the attached Statement which shows in Columns 5 to 8 this, information on the basis of an estimate of revenues which would be. derived by application of rates to eaoh of the accounts which were, being billed on date of tariff suspension and then assuming that 80$ ef the equipment was provided with recirculating pumps. A negligible amount of tonnage for ioe making machines was in­cluded in above estimate which was disregarded as being too inconse­quential to affect the estimate. In considering the estimate of revenue shown in attached statement, it should be borne in mind that; Commercial 1 - The accounts used are exclusively commercial accounts. 2 - The accounts listed represent only an estimated 50$ of the commercial accounts and tons capacity which could be billed today if an accurate field survey were made of the entire Mr. V/m.
