GENERAL JOBBING AND FORWARDING FRESH AND DRIED MEATS HAY, GRAIN, COAL, GROCERIES AND HARDWARE /A Ol Las Vegas, Nevada^ ~J~ui j—2 /,—_L iAct-rz)-'- -19CL Mr. J. Ross Clark, Second Vice President, Los Angeles, California. Dear Sir,- Replying to your favor of June 1st, 1905, file No.60 A, herewith find enclosed my personal check for $8.05 being balance of the money collected from‘Marsh on correl bill in March, 1905. I hope you will understand that I merely pay this money at your personal request as it was our understanding when we rented the Ranch, bought the hay, etc., that all profits accruing from date of renting the ranch were to be ours. I have just had a talk with I r. Tuttle about this in Salt Lake and understand'that is his version of the matter. Certainly the money was not paid on either bill until 16th of March instead of 19th of March as Mr. Bettis states, but the bargains were made' on 6th of March, and I believe, leases drawn and signed 7th of March.
