Memo to Mr. Campbell: L AS V E G A S , N E V A D A June 30, 1950 Matters re Negotiation to be considered : at next meeting. a . Type of reply to make to Reinhardt. b. Will this make M r . McNamee desir^able and available as counsel for the District. c. Is a letter now due Greeley and Hansen, easing them out of a valuation report? d. Shall we have a sub-committee to act with the Manager, advising and making decisions on other than facts, i.e.— desireable land to retain; etc. e. How fast will it be desireable to proceed- there is additional pipe now laid out, if not now put in, as part of this summerTs improvements. What target date for concluding negotiations: Meet once a month for two or three days? Set Christmas as probable date— or three months hence, so figure can definitely .fee available in deciding total of bond issue? NOTE: I called Harry Miller, Otto Underhill, James Cashman, Spence Butterfield-and told them of letter. Mr. Cashman already knew about it- said he had talked (tel.?) with Reinhardt. Matters re Negotiations with Colorado River Commission. Start how soon? Allow 2 months for negotiations, meeting every week? for one afternoon per week? Set 2 months as date to try to approach General Services Administration with our Joint efforts here? If so, that will bring two important issues to a simultaneous head, and the money totals then tell us much about the total amount of the bond issue.
