Gentlemen: At a special meeting of the Board.of Commissioners held the 31st day of July 1950, this office was instructed to make demand on your Honorable Body and request that you require the Las Vegas Land and Water Company to proceed immediately to augment the present water supply to the City of Las Vegas in view of the fact that it now appears there is insufficient water available and this condition has existed for some period of time.
