1 GRANT OF EASEMENT 3 In consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00 and 4 other good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby 5 acknowledged, LOS ANGELES & SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY and its les- 6 see, UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY, Utah c o r p o r a t io n s , G ra n to rs, 7 hereby grant to LAS VEGAS VALLEY WATER DISTRICT, a public corpora-g tion of the State of Nevada, Grantee, its successors and assigns, 9 rights of way and easements for the construction, maintenance, op- 10 eration, repair and replacement of water pipe lines and appurten- 11 ances and appurtenant work, under, upon and along the several 12 scrips of land hereinafter described and called ’’easement strips” 13 which extend across the lands of the Grantors. The Grantee, its 14 successors and assigns, their officers, agents and employees, or 15 anY contractor, his agents and employees, engaged by the Grantee, 16 its successors and assigns, shall have the right to enter upon, 17 pass and repass over and along, and to deposit tools, implements 18 and other materials on, said easement strips whenever necessary for 19 the purposes above set forth, except that the right of the Grantee 20 and said persons to enter upon, pass and repass over and along said 21 easement strips at and in the vicinity of railroad tracks, signals 22 and other appurtenant railroad operating facilities now or hereaf- 23 ter intersecting, paralleling or extending along said easement 24 strips shall be subject to reasonable regulations imposed by Grant- 25 ors, their successors and assigns, from time to time restrueting the 26 time and manner of passing over the easement strips in the vicinity 27 EXHIBIT ”F" Page 1. 28
