(For the Canadian **A" Circuit) Attached to this summary is a copy of the letter from Mr* L * P * Bromham, secretary of the WESTERN CANADA ASSOCIATION OF EXHIBITS, which includes: 1963 WINNIPEG - the Tatter part of June; 8 days BRANDON ~ July 2d through July 6th CALGARY - July 8th through 13th EDMONTON t July 15th thrOv^h July 20th SASKATOON - July 22d through July 27th REGINA - July 29th through August 3d As the letter states, the usual package price averages around $17,000* per engagement; however, three or four of the larger engagements spend as much as $15,000* additional for their shows* My good friend Maurice Hartnett, general manager of the Calgary Stampede, came to Indianapolis during Red*s engagement* He is one of the guiding lights of the entire Circuit and is most interested in the possibility of my delivering a package to them this summer* It would be my thinking to submit a "JACK ENTRATTER PRESENTS.* *" etc*, with a line of 20 or 22 girls (this is a must), Tina Robin, Rafael Mendez, and other top variety acts# A name entertainer could be added where the budget is available# Naturally, you would be the producer and own the package* This is one of the choice circuits in the country, Jack, and can be developed into a yearly project* MCA has booked this Circuit the last two or three years, and a number of the Fairs have not been happy with the shows that were sold to them* I am.leaving for Houston, Texas, November 4th, for two weeks, and would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience to discuss this package in detail prior to that time, since the Circuit will make a decisioil the week of November 24th, while I am attending the Outdoor Convention in Chicago. * *
