    What a pleasure to greet you on behalf of Theta Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa
    Alpha Sorority, Inc and the entire committee for the Second Annual Emerald
    Scholarship Ball! We are thrilled that you have joined with us to celebrate, and at
    the same time, raise funds for deserving students in the Las Vegas valley.
    On this 2nd Annual Emerald Ball celebration, the chapter and all fifty sorors
    serving on the committee are grateful for your support. A dream comes true for
    many students because of your participation and dedication to this event. We
    recognize the importance of “Unity” as we join together to make this a joyous and
    festive occasion. Thanks to all the hard working committee members who helped

    Ball hosted by the outstanding ladies of Theta Theta Omega
    Chapter. We are very greatful to have served as the 2005
    Souvenir Journal Chairmen this year
    We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to our soror Kimberly
    Scott, Journal Graphic Artist for her sharing her time, and talents
    in this venue. Special thanks to our community for supporting
    our journal by purchasing ads. The money raised from this
    journal will go toward scholarship for deserving high school

    Dear Friends:
    As the happiest Mayor in the world, and on behalf of the citizens of our
    beautiful city, I am delighted to welcome you to the Alpha Kappa Alpha
    Sorority’s 2nd Emerald Ball!
    I am sorry that I could not be there to celebrate with you, but I would like to
    take this opportunity to recognize your organization for their hard work and
    dedication to our community and for helping to organize this wonderful
    event. All proceeds from this evening will go into a scholarship fund to help
    deserving students achieve their dreams.

    The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW) is a nonprofit volunteer organization
    dedicated to community service, leadership development and the enhancement of career
    opportunities through networking and programming.
    Incorporated in 1981 under the leadership of (then) National President Jewell Jackson McCabe,
    the national movement grew to more than 60 chapters, over 7,000 members in 26 states and the
