Owners of refrigeration cool- |ers were given a respite from i special water rates charged by the Las Vegas Land and Water company following a Public Ser- I vice commission hearing held here Thursday. The PSC ordered the water company to suspend special charg" es pending submission and approval of a new rate schedule ! after clients of the utility ex-jhibited bills which they protested were too high. The 7 complainants told the j [commission that the special! charge had been approved by the ' PSC several years ago but had never been used until this summer. They also noted that under the | ruling the water company could continue to make the extra charge each month even during the winter when the coolers are not used. The water company was rep-i resented at the hearing by man-i ager William Johnson and its. i Counsel, - Ed Bennett. Complainants were represented by R. H. Jefferson, Charles King, J. K.
