Well No- 1 \ Affidavit of Completion of Work Permit No. 7202 Affidavit by Applicant Las Vegas Land and Water Company Las Vegas Land and Water Company By - R. L. Adamson Affidavit dated March 19, 1929 ’’That at least” $10,000 has been expended in-- the completion of said works and at expense of applicant and at the expense of LA&SLRR Co. for use and benefit of the applicant. Improvement consisted of: ”a 12" drilled well 635’ deep with 12" casing; reinforced concrete settling basin 15* x 41* with composition roof; 12" pipe from well to basin; 6" drain from basin; spillway and ditches from well and settling basin to creek; 6" woven wire fence around well and settling basin.(Creek bed forms natural channel for water from well and settling basin to ranch.) -- Were made at well, and in construction of ditches to divert water from Creek for irrigation purposes." "Said improvements were begun prior to August 23, 1924 and wexe completed prior to November 1, 1928." Proof of Application of Water to Beneficial Use (under executed June 28, 1932 by Leo A. McNamee as attorney for LVL&W Co. Permit No. 7202)/contains following statement: "Water from subterranean channel or artesian belt is diverted through 12" drilled well 635 feet deep to a settling basin, thence through a wier and headgate into the natural channel of Las Vegas Creek, by which channel the water is carried to the actual place of use. Water is carried to the various portions of the land through lateral ditches controlled by headgates and diverted to the fields for irrigation purposes." "For the water system the applicant has expended the following amounts: For well, For ditching and distri- $6,330.23 bution facilities 4,000.00 Total $10,330.23
