Story and Photo by C h u c k Baker Members of the Las V g a s Historic Preservation Commission ( L V H P C ) took part in the recent A r t Expo Las V g a s held at the Sands Convention Center. A n exhibit booth was featured that highlighted several neon signs from the Young Electric Sign Company, as well as photographs of past and present historic buildings and locations in the city. Virginia Hernandez coordinated commission involvement with the Expo. Memb ers of the L V H P C took turns hosting the exhibit, whic hd rew much interest from attendees at the show, who initially came to view more traditional artwork.
