Attest: Helen Scott Reed (signed) E. W. Cragin City Clerk Mayor Dated January 30, 1948. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved that the foregoing Budget for 1948 be approved as submitted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time, Com­missioner Clark moved that the meeting adjourn until February 6, 1948 at the hour of 2:00 p.m. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin. ATTEST: APPROVED: City clerk Mayor Las Vegas, Nevada February 4, 1948 At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners held this 4th day of February, 1948. Meeting called to order by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin at the hour of 7:30 P.M. with the following members present: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple, and City Clerk Helen Scott Reed. Absent: Commissioner Baskin, City Manager J. M. Murphy, and City Attorney, C. Norman Cornwall. AMENDMENTS TO MASTER This being the time set for the hearing on the amendments to PLAN OF THE CITY OF the Master Plan of the City of Las Vegas. One person was present LAS VEGAS in the audience. At this time Mayor Cragin made the following statement: "When the date of this hearing was set, by the Board of Commissioners, and notice was published in the newspaper, it was anticipated that certain necessary preliminary matters would have been com­pleted by the time of this hearing. Due to unavoidable cir­cumstances these preliminary matters, now being taken care of, have not yet been completed and it is advisable for everyone concerned that another date for the hearing be set in the near future. Notice of this next meeting will be published and all parties interested will be given an opportunity to be heard on the question of the amendment to the Master Plan." at There being no further business to be heard at this meeting, Commissioner Whipple moved that the meeting adjourn until February 6, at the hour of 2:00 p.m. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore,
