On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing lease agreement, C.L.D. 5706, dated October 20, 1944, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and Riverside Properties, Inc., Lessee, covering premises near Third and Vine Streets, Riverside, California, for garage purposes; rental $60 per annum, payable annually in advance; subject to termination by Lessor upon thirty days’ written notice; be, and the same is here­by, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Asst. Secretary Bachman in executing lease agreement, C.L.D. No. 6136, dated January 10, 1945, between Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company, Union Pacific Railroad Company and Las Vegas Land and Water Company, collectively called Lessor, and Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, Lessee, covering lease of land, near Mission Road and Stephenson Avenue, Los Angeles, Califomia, to be used for construction and occupation of buildings in connection with Lessee’s storage operations; consideration $101.08 per month, pay­able monthly in advance; subject to termination by Lessee upon first or second anniversary of the effective date thereof upon written notice of 30 days prior to the anniversary date; said lease terminating and superseding lease Audit No. 10248, dated April 19, 1943, between said parties; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
