    I fPTT This amount is apportioned by the Las Vegas Land & later Company to its various operating accounts, as is also the salary and expenses of Mr. Bracken, Agent at Las Vegas, The item of laundry, $375.82, is for laundering of towels and bed linen, etc. The work is done by the Troy Laundry at Las Vegas, who make us a price of $1.60 per hundred pieces for the towels and bed linen, 10$ each for spreads and 40$ each for double wool blankets. When the house was first opened in April, 1912, it was not very well patronised, and on June 19, 1912, the rates were re­duced. The rental of the house at full capacity under the old rates was $610.50 per month, and at the new rates $495,00 per month, a re­duction of $115.50. For the eight months covered by the attached statement the house was rented to 86^ of its capacity. The deficit for the nine months prior to that covered by the statement was, $1559.60 The deficit for the period covered by the statement, 1152.43 Total deficit to date since the opening of the house $2712.03 This, as stated once before, does not include any in­terest on the investment.
