m.- i the locations shown by yellow lines on Exhibit ”A, ” dated May 13, 2 1953, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, the 3 following: 4 (a) Approximately 1590 LF of 8" cast iron water mains, 5 6 (b) Approximately 7970 LF of 6” cast iron Water mains, 7 (e) Approximately 130 LF of 6" east iron fire hydrant connections. 8 The cost of constructing said water mains (exclusive of cost of 9 constructing said 130 LF of 6” cast iron fire hydrant connections) 10 is the agreed sum of f32,490,00, H n 2. Said water mains shall be constructed of 6” and 8* Class I 12 150 B & S cast iron pipe and shall be in accordance with Federal 1 13 specifications WWP 421 Type 1, All joints shall be cement. All 14 fittings shall be new, all bell cast iron equal to ASA Standard I 5 Class 250, All valves shall be double disk, parallel seat bronze 16 mountings conforming to AWWA standards, not less than 175 lbs,, 1 17 and all valve boxes shall be of cast iron of appropriate size for 18 each valve. Unless otherwise approved by a duly authorized repre- 1 19 sentative of the Company, all pipe valves and fittings shall be ’ 1 20 manufactured by the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or 1 21 Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance 22 with AWWA specifications, shall be subject to the approval and ae- 23 ceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall be con- 24 structed at an elevation to be designated by a duly authorized I j 1 | 25 representative of the company, but in no event shall there be less 26 than 36” of covering over such water mains.
