Dear Friend;
School is just out so now I will write you a few lines.
I was unexpectedly pleased to receive another letter from you so sooni
If you want to send me lots of letters before I leave Provo you will have to keep on that way.
It seems almost to good to be true to think that the time to leave is drawing so near but still
I am becoming more attached to Provo all the time. I am anxious to go and yet I don't like think of leaving altogether.
I suppose you think I make queer statements, for they sound

odd to me after I have written them. But then, we are having examinations now so I am hardly accountable for what I say.
I received a letter from Pa the other day stating that he or Levi would meet me at Milford, but did not say when. I suppose they do not know exactly yet.
I told them I would like to go on the 28th. inst when I wrote a week ago.
Of course you will tell me as soon as you can decide when you are coming.
I suppose if you do come before school closes, you will leave about the day after I do. However, I hope it will not happen that way.
I do not know yet, exactly, when we will be through with our regular exercises but it will not be later than Tuesday of the last week as Wednesday is Field day.
