Reinhardt (2) Page 2 January 16, 1952 I imagine that this may not be particularly satisfactory to the Chamber of Commerce of Las Vegas who have been making a lot of loose statements that as long as this application was on file the housing development of Las Vegas was being throttled. However, these statements are not borne out by the facts since we are continually receiving applications for new housing projects and such housing projects are being undertaken. Under the circumstances, I think we are in a better position to have this application remain on file subject to a hearing, if we deem it desirable, than to have had the hearing on January 22nd feeling as we do that our application would be denied.
