I agree., WAR Los Angeles /- March 10, 1943 File 10-06 ' W * Mr. W. H. Guild - Los Angeles: Your file 7334, of March 9th, referring to Mr, Bracken* s file W23-1-A of March 5th, in connection with the renewal of our publicity campaign for water conservation in Las Vegas: Last year we were faced with a possible shortage of water because of a rapidly increasing population and it was then imperative that water be rigidly conserved. lot only was the per capita use of water materially decreased last year, but additional sources of supply were created. Although'I concur with Mr. Bracken that conservation should still be urged and that we should with the City Commissioners in the employing of a uniformed officer during the summer months, I do not believe we should attempt at this time to renew the publicity program of last year. oc- Mr. Frank Strong
