K.C. Booster Club makes D.l. regular stop on West Coast jaunts bo!!^ ci??Mome KIlTng^ve made the Desert Inn a regular stop when they travel west to see the Chiefs play Oakland and San Diego. The Club made two trips west this past season with the Dl a three-day stopover on each visit. Highlight of the Club's visits to Las Vegas is seeing "Pzazz '70." Before the show started, a quartet of dazzling showgirls paraded on stage with the same banner seen by millions of grid fans on television during the Super Bowl game. This was the Chiefs greatest moment as they crushed the highly touted Minnesota Vikings, 23-7. Surrounded by Beauty! Popular latenight television host Merv Griffin recently had several of his shows televised from Las Vegas. Assisting him during his desert stay was a bevy of Pzazz showgirls. Standing majesticly left to right, are, Jeanne Carroll, Lorna Jacobs, Shirley Allen, Zenie Barber, Susan Briggs and Marge Allen. The intimacy of the celebrated rendezvous has been preserved by the Beverly Hills decorating firm of Laszlo, Inc. who have enriched the decor with colors and textures to achieve a more convivial environment. A dominant hot pink color scheme and warm flattering lighting highlight the rich decorative concept. Added intimacy is achieved with a new raised "living room" section overlooking the Dl Country Club. qecoiatea Jlmirik1 dance?
