On motion of Commissioner Moore, duly seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried unan­imously, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 20th day of January, 1950, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed, dated the 29th day of January, 1943 executed by Dr. William S. Park and Mary Belle Park to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and filed in the records of this Board, Commissioner Moore moved the public hearing for the proposed amendment to the Land Use Plan, Rezoning of the North side of Stewart Avenue as recommended by the Regional Plan­ning Commission, be set sixteen days from the publication of the Notice, Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple, Commissioner Peccole moved that upon the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission as per their letter dated January 19, 1950 the request of Dr. T. H. Steele to change his property at 209 E. Charleston from R-3 to C-2 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple, The request of Dr. J. C. Cherry for Zone Variance Case No. 81 for his property, Lots 10, 11 and 12 of Block 29, South Addition from "R-l" to "R-2" was deferred until February 7, 1950. Commissioner Moore moved the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission of January 19, 1950 approving the tentative map of a subdivision of lots of a block lying between Block 2, South Fifth Street Tract and Paradise Road, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple.
