Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved the bid of Harriet H. MacCormack be accepted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following votes Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. BID NO. 50.15 This being the time set for the opening of Bid No. 50.15, Stove and Diesel Oil, bids were received from the following firms: SHELL OIL CO. JOB CARDINAL VEGAS HEATING & OIL CO. RICHFIELD OIL CO. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved the foregoing bids be referred to the City Manager and Comptroller for tabulation and recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following votes Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absents Commissioners Bunker and Moore. MARTIN TRAILER PARK Commissioner Peccole moved the report of the City Manager on the Martin Trailer Park to be accepted and Mr. Martin be given sixty days to conform with requirements. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absents Commissioners Bunker and Moore. MAIN LIQUOR STORE Commissioner Whipple moved the license of the Main Liquor Store, 418 North 5th Street be Liquor License renewed providing Mr. Stice or Mr. Gang furnish the Board with a letter stating that one or both of the partners will personally supervise and manage the store. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. R/W ALLEY - Between Commissioner Whipple moved the recommendation of the City Manager on the opening of the 13th and 14th and alley between 13th and 14th Streets and Ogden and Stewart be accepted and the City- Ogden and Stewart Manager authorized to proceed along the line recommended. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following votes Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absents Commissioners Bunker and Moore. LAS VEGAS SHEET Commissioner Whipple moved the file on the Las Vegas Skeet Club requesting land to build CLUB a club house on be referred to the City Manager for further investigation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. SUNSET TRAILER PARK Commissioner Whipple moved the report of the City Manager on the Sunset Trailer Park be approved . Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. SOUTH MAIN STREET Commissioner Peccole moved the petition of property owners on South Main Street regarding POWER POLES the placement of power poles be accepted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following votes Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absents Commissioners Bunker and Moore. PETITION - Removal Commissioner Peccole moved the petition of property, owners for the removal of a junk yard of Junk Yard on B and Wilson Streets be referred to the City Manager. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following votes Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absents Commissioners Bunker and Moore. WILDCAT LAIR Commissioner Peccole moved that upon the recommendation of the City Manager the Wildcat Lair be retained as part of the City Recreation program. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following votes Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absents Commissioners Bunker and Moore. ASSESSMENT ROLL - Commissioner Whipple moved that the public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the Meadows Add’n Sewer Meadows Addition Sewer Improvement be held April 25, 1950 at 3:00 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following votes Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absents Commissioners Bunker and Moore. ZONE CHANGE - Mel Commissioner Peccole moved the public hearing on the zone change of Mel Schroeder property Schroeder be held May 5, 1950 at the hour of 3:00 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. TAXI APPLICATIONS Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Lucky Cab Company for three replacement taxi licenses and Tanner motor Tours for six additional U-Drive licenses be granted.
