    Mr. Wade presented the request of G.L. Gordon for a 72 foot curb cut in front of the Boston Motel at 2011 South A Street for the purpose of providing off- street parking for eight vehicles. Commissioner Fountain moved Mr. Gordon's request for curb cut be denied. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Sharp moved the final map of McNeil Park be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Director of Public Works George E. Wade presented the deed of Phil Shanedling In­vestment Co. for the widening of Tonopah Highway near the proposed Twin Lakes Shopping Center, and recommended its acceptance. On motion of Commissioner Bunker, duly seconded by Commissioner Sharp and car­ried unanimously, the following resolution is adopted and order made: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEED On motion of Commissioner Wendell Bunker, duly seconded by Commissioner Harris P. Sharp, and carried unanimously, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 7th day of December, 1955; by the Board of Commis­sioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed, dated the 21st day of November, 1955; executed by Phil Shanedling Investment Com­pany, a California Corporation to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board. COUNTY OF CLARK ) I, Shirley Ballinger City Clerk, of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, hereby certify the foregoing to be a full, true and correct copy of the Resolution accepting the deed attached hereto duly adopted at a regular meet­ing of the Board of Commissioners held on the 7th day of December, 1955.
