THERE ARE PLANS UNDER CONSIDERATION FOR TRANSFER OF WATER PRODUCTION FACILITIES OF THE RAILROAD COMPANY TO THE LAS VEGAS LAND AND WATER COMPANY, OR TO A NEW COMPANY TO BE FORMED, AND IN SUCH TRANSFER I ASSUME THE RAILROAD WOULD DIVEST ITSELF FROM THE OUTSIDE SERVICE. THE PLAN WAS ORIGINALLY SUBMITTED TO OUR EXECUTIVES DECEMBER 4, 1951# AND FURTHER DISCUSSED AS LATE AS SEPTEMBER OF THIS YEAR.
