Ross Clark, Special Committee Dear Sirs:* Referring to Mr. Clark's letter of April 10th, file 1199, and Mr. Bancroft's letter of April 12th, with reference to building company houses at Las Vegaa, for the reasons stated in the last sentence of the first paragraph of Mr. Bancroft's letter, it would seem to me best for the railroad company to erect and main­tain these houses, the same as at other points on the line.
