Dear Sir,-The Vegas Ranch deal has finally been settled, all the purchase money being paid except $5,000, which is held until good title is furnished for two parcels of land.I start for the ranch as soon as possible after the consummation of the bargain, which is March 1st; this is the day to catch the stage. Mrs. Stewart goes the same time.I will do the best I can until further instructions from you.I enclose two vouchers signed. I thank you for the cheek for $430.40.Yours truly,Wm. McDermott
