NEVADA In our letter of September 21, 1945> we agreed to construct the reservoir, settling basin, pump house, fire house, two concrete valve boxes, and to excavate and backfill trenches for pipe lines, subject to certain condi­tions, for the sum of $159*018.00. At the time that proposal was submitted it was contemplated that your Maintenance Department would lay all of the pipe lines and connections, and install booster pumps. Subsquently, a jurisdictional dispute between the Las Vegas Building Trades Council and your Company Union resulted in your forces withdrawing from the job, and we are now requested to submit a supplemental proposal under which, in addition to the work already contracted, we will furnish labor only for laying the pipe lines in the trenches to be excavated. We submit herewith a guaranteed maximum, fixed fee proposal to cover the work as proposed in our letter of September 21, 1945, plus the additional work above described, in the amount of One Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($174,295.00), subject to the following conditions: 1. Railroad to furnish all pipe, valves, fittings, pumps, etc. 2.
