L&W.Company and the Railroad Company cohering the furnishing of water at Las Vegasj also dealing with question of steps to be taken to protect our water righ ts in connection with whloh we are re­quired by the State of Nevada to provide for accurate measurement: As for renewal o f water contract, it w ill be satisfactory to hare new agreement prepared, using the estimated rate of fbOO.OO per month for the use of our f a c i li t i e s , as recommended in your le tte r of the 22nd; this rate to remain in effect un til such time as actual measurement has been made with a view to determining more nearly the actual charge which should be made covering the cost of water. As fo r in stallatio n of meters, it w ill be satisfactory for Mr. Armstrong to submit Form 30, which1 should be done promptly, to cover these meters, the estimated cost of which I note is f255Q.G0. In reply to Mr. Armstrong's question in his le tte r A pril 20 as to disposition of expense covering in stallatio n of meters on lin es serving outside concerns, inasmuch as the F .F .I. lin e is the only one and for reasons given in your le t t e r , we w ill not require that Company to pay for the meter, but w ill in s t a ll same ourselves.
