    Las Vegas - September 9, 1948 ft-2 Mr. A. C. Bitter: Xour memo September 7, file 7334, regaining temporary lease with California Hydraulic Metals Company covering scrap loading site at Las Vegass file lease was transmitted to the Long Beach office of the Metals Company July 15 and, while we have twice traced them for return of the documents, we have received no response. Will you kindly con­tact them, either by mail or telephone, and ask them to return the executed lease to us* In this connection, examination of the site yesterday morning develops that they have left debris scattered on the site for a distance of about 300® along the right-of-way. Most of the material has been cleared tip, but there are piles of sacks and paper that should have been burned and hauled to the dumps.. Please also ask them to have the site cleaned up in accordance with premise of their representative, Sol Morris. A. M. Folger
