to and including October 15, 1942, subject to said consent to sublease; end WHEREAS, the parties defire that the rental for said leased premises be payable semi-annually in advance, beginning October 15, 1940: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong and Secretary in executing supplemental agreement, dated Nov. 1, 1940, between LVL&WCo., Lessor, and Marion Machine Foundry & Supply Company of California, Lessee, under the terms of which said Lessee agrees to pay said rental semi-annually in advance, commencing October 15, 1940, and that, except as heretofore and by said supplemental agreement modified, said lease Audit No. A-45232 shall in all respects remain in full force and effect; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing letter-agreement, C. A. No. 10097, dated November 18, 1940, addressed to Mr. Eric W. Emtman, 3825 Vine Street, Riverside, California, covering the furnishing of all necessary superintendence, labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation and the making of certain alterations in packing house, located at Second and Vine Streets, Riverside, California, said work consisting of rearranging partitions, counters and doorways, etc. and repainting; consideration $585.00; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing lease, C. L. D. No. 3372, dated November 25, 1940, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and G. Page, an individual operating under the fictitious firm name and style of Mission Packing Company, Lessee, covering -5-
