    Commissioner Bunker moved the City offer $700.00 to purchase Block 21 of the 14th Street Addition. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the request of the City Attorney to purchase books for the law library be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Peccole moved the City Attorney be instructed to take action against Lowell Williams to recover damages caused to the Fire Truck in a recent accident. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved action on the agreement with the Clark County Humane Soc­iety on the operation of the Animal Welfare Department be held in abeyance until next meeting. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that pursuant to the recommendation of the City Manager the offer to deed streets by James L. Filbey be denied until these streets are improved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Blinker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the City Manager be requested to submit information as to the cost for installing curbs, gutters and sidewalks on the east side of the City Park. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time the proposed agreement for the operation of concessions at the Wildcat Lair, Central Swimming Pool and the Ball Park was submitted, with the following people being interested in entering into this agreement: Rudolf Boschitz Mrs. William Saxton Frank Swope Commissioner Bunker moved the Concession Agreement be entered into with Rudolf Boschitz and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time a letter under date of May 4, 1951 from Jack Pursel regarding a penalty due on his second quarter business license was presented to the Board for their con­sideration. Commissioner Whipple moved this penalty be waived in view of the fact that notice was not given ten days before the license fee was due. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Moore moved the application of Oscar L. Crozier for a Tavern Liquor lic­ense at the El Morocco Club, 1501 E Street be approved subject to investigation by the Police Department. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Moore moved the application of Oscar L. Crozier, El Morocco Club, 1501 E Street for license for 1 Poker, 1 Craps, and 1 "21" game for the second quarter of 1951 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Peccole moved the following applications for gaming licenses for the second quarter of 1951 be granted: SAV ON LIQUOR STORE 504 North Main O. W. Glenn 1 slot WARD’S MOBILE SERVICE 5th & Ogden Gayer Co. 1 slot Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Moore moved the action taken on May 2, 1951 setting the date for public hearing for the vacation of a street in Beverly Green Tract No. 2 be rescinded, and the subdividers requested to submit an amended map. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
