    349 At this time Mayor C. C. McDaniel of North Las Vegas and members of the Board of Commissioners appeared before the Board relative to the City of North Las Vegas using the Sewage Disposal Plant of the City of Las Vegas. Discussion was held. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING On motion of Commissioner Moore, duly seconded by Commissioner Clark, and carried unanimously, DEED No. 128 the following Resolution is adopted and order made: R/W - A Street BE IT RESOLVED, this 21st day of January, 1949 by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed, dated the 14th day of January, 1949, executed by Helen E. Tucker to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nev­ada, and filed in the records of this Board. PROPOSED ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AUCTIONEERS AND AUCTION SALES IN THE CITY OF Auctioneers LAS VEGAS; REQUIRING PERMITS FOR THE CONDUCT OF AUCTION SALES AND FIXING THE FEES THEREFOR; PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS FOR THE DURATION AND MANNER OF THE CONDUCT OF AUCTION SALES; PRO- VIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS THEREOF; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO, was read by title to the Board and referred to a committee composed of Commissioners Moore and Whipple for report. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Clark moved that Service & Material Warrants Nos. 1749 to 1751 inclusive and 1754 WARRANTS and 1755 in the net sum of $31,055.94 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. CHARTER CHANGES At this time City Attorney C. Norman Cornwall submitted the proposed Charter Changes. After considerable explanation and discussion Commissioner Whipple moved that the proposed Charter Changes be approved. Further that the Mayor be authorized to write a letter to the Clark County Legislators explaining the reasons the Board desires to make the offices of City At- torney and City Clerk appointive. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. J. J. PEELAN Commissioner Clark moved that the request of J. J. Peelan, Garbage Contractor for an advance Advance of $l500 be allowed providing he has that amount coming to him as of this date. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Clark moved that this meeting recess until January 24, 1949. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
