    Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved the recommendation of the City Engineer be accepted and said sever easement in the Greater Las Vegas Addition be released. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the final map of the Greater Las Vegas Addition be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commission­ers Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Mr. George Wade, Director of Public Works, presented the request for release of bond on Westwood Park, namely the specific bond filed by O. H. Nelson for the realignment and vacation of the dedicated Westwood Drive. Discussion followed and the Board was advised that Mr. Nelson had fulfilled all necessary requirements. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved that the aforementioned bond filed by O. H. Nelson on Westwood Park in the amount of $3,000.00 be released. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time the Board considered the request of the U. S. Government for permission to land helicopters on city property in Section 36, T20S, R62E. Commissioner Sharp moved that the request of the U. S. Government Air Force Base for a helicopter landing permit be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time the final map of Charleston Heights #4 was considered. Commissioner Bunker moved that the final map of Charleston Heights No. 4 be approved, and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time the final map of Charleston Heights #5 was considered. Director of Public Works George Wade recommended this map be approved. Commissioner Sharp moved that the recommendation of the Director of Public Works be accepted and the final map of Charleston Heights No. 5 be approved subject to the re­naming of Upland Drive, and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time the final map of Westleigh #5 was considered. Director of Public Works George Wade recommended approval of this map. Commissioner Sharp moved that the final map of Westleigh #5 he approved, and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that the final map of Moss Tract No. 4 be approved, and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Mr. William Loretta, Supervisor of Building and Safety, recommended that a permit be granted to Sheryl Woodbury to move a building from 1401 South 5th Street to 1933 E. Charleston. Thereafter Commissioner Sharp moved that permission be granted to Sheryl Woodbury to move a building from 1401 South 5th Street to 1933 E. Charleston in compliance with plans on file in the Building Department. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved that the new cigarette application of Verland D. Jacobsen, Layton L. Jay and E. Parry Thomas for the second quarter 1955 for J & J Stations, Inc., 2001 South 5th Street be approved.
