Stoddard) Referring to your phone call advising that the Las Vegas City Council and representatives of the Nevada Public Utilities Commission will hold an informal meeting in Las Vegas on October 12th regarding acquirement by the newly organized Las Vegas Water District of our water bearing lands and water distribution facilities serving the City of Las Vegas. Mr. L. A. Barnes, of my office, will arrange to attend this meeting and will arrive in Las Vegas on No. 3 the morning of October 11th. I have discussed this subject with Mr. L. J. Bachman, and we agree with you and Mr. Bennett that all concerned should carefully avoid mating any commitments during the conference. W. H. HOI
