r ' 4 ^ i (a) Approximately 125 LF of 8” and 1,290 LF p of 6" cast iron water mains. ? (to) Approximately 136 LF of 6M cast iron fire 3 hydrant connections. 4 The cost of constructing said water mains (exclusive of cost of 5 constructing said 136 LF of cast iron fire hydrant connections) is 6 agreed to toe the sum of $4,483.00. 7 2. Said water mains shall toe constructed of 6” and 8W ? 8 Class 150 B & S cast plron pipe and shall toe in accordance with 9 Federal specifications WWP 421 Type 1. All joints shall toe cement. 10 All fittings shall toe new, all toell cast iron equal to ASA Standard 11 Class 250. All valves shall toe double disk, parallel seat toronze mountings conforming to AWWA standards, not less than 175 ltos., and 1 1^3 all valve tooxes shall toe of cast iron of appropriate size for each 14 valve. Unless otherwise approved toy a duly authorized repre- 15 sentative of the Company, all pipe valves and fittings shall toe 16 manufactured toy the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or 17 Mueller Company, All pipe lines shall toe chlorinated in accordance 18 with AWWA specifications, shall toe sutoject to the approval and 1 9 acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall toe 20 constructed at an elevation to toe designated toy a duly authorized 21 representative of the company, tout in no event shall there toe less 2 2 than 36” of covering over such water mains. All workmanship, material and installation of said water mains shall toe sutoject to 23 the approval and acceptance of a duly authorized representative of 24 the Company. 25 H 3. At Subdivider’s sole cost and expense to survey and 26 -2-
