February 18, 1955 1-7334 MEMO FOR F I L E ? On Wednesday, February 16, 1955, a messenger from James M. Montgomery's office in Pasadena delivered the attached print, Sheet J-2 revised 1-3-55, to this office and requested that the RRCo. grant the District approval to proceed with jacking the 3 6 ” RC pipe encasement under main tracks at San Francisco Street, Las tfegas, Nevada. I discussed the'question of granting the District an Easement across RRCo. right of way with Mr. Hammill, who advised that RRCo. recently granted Clark County easement for 80 ft. highway at this location, CA-8323} dated July 23, 1954, and that L.V.V.W.D. will not require easement from RRCo. as long as pipe line is located in street area. RRCo. should approve the construction plans and advise the District to give 48 hour notice to Division Engineer prior to commencing construction. J. A. Montgomery
