RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Asst. Secretary Bachman on behalf of this Company in executing L.S. Deed Audit No. 4738, dated March 26, 1945, favor United States Rubber Company, conveying a portion of Lot 1, Tract 7777, East Los Angeles, California; subject to: 1 - General and special taxes or installments thereof, and any special district levies, payment of which is included in and col­lected with said taxes, which have not become payable at the date hereof; 2 - Conditions, restrictions, reservations, ease­ments and encumbrances of record; excepting and reserving unto this Company all minerals and mineral rights, including coal, oil and gas and rights thereto, without right of entry; consideration §10 and other good and valuable consideration; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong on behalf of this Company in executing rider CLD No. 6452, dated May 25, 1945, extending to June 30, 1946, term of letter-agreement, Audit No. 10249, dated August 11, 1943, expiring June 30, 1945, with Peter Strattes, granting permission to use 6.0 acres of land, being the northerly 358 ft. of Lot 19 in the Los Angeles Fruitland Association 500-Acre Tract in Vernon, Los Angeles County, Calif­ornia; consideration $60 for the term, payable in advance; subject to surrender and vacation of all or any part of said premises on 30 days* notice from this Company; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
