You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Baker, a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas Nevada will be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 5th and Stewart, on the 9th day of December, 1953 at the hour of 4:00 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1. Hawkins Shirley Ballinger ARCHITECT FOR YOUTH Commissioner Jarrett moved that Richard Bledsoe be hired as the architect for the CENTER Youth Center. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Sharp. DEED ACCEPTED Discussion was held at this time concerning the deed of certain property between Grant, Cahlan & Wengert Washington and Bonanza and 2nd and 5th Streets, presented for acceptance by A. C. Grant, Al Cahlan and C. S. Wengert. Thereafter Commissioner Sharp moved this deed be accepted with any deed restrictions
