I agree.Before 75 gallons of paint can be applied to the miles of constructed sets, 600 yards of muslin must cover the bare timber, thus ensuring a more durable paint finish. The elaborate fly loft above the stage will house nearly 50 separate scenic and special effect units, which can be lowered by means of an intricately computerized system of counter-weights to give any set added depth, height or lighting. An army of highly skilled stage hands have been rehearsing day and night to ensure that every piece of scenery will be in the right place at precisely the right moment during each performance of the all-new Lido extravaganza. -31-
