August 2, 1944, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and Merchant Shippers Association, Inc., Lessee, covering the southerly 300 ft. of Vegetable Shed No. 3, Los Angeles, California to be used for the handling of merchandise; rental $150 per month, payable monthly in advance; term 5 years commencing July 24, 1944; subject to termination by either party upon 30 days' written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and con­firmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Asst. Secretary Matthai in executing lease agreement, Audit No. 10294, dated November 16, 1944, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and Moapa Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lessee, covering site occupied by "Old Port", located on Las Vegas Ranch property of this Company, Las Vegas, Nevada, for term commencing September 15, 1944, and ending Septemb er 14, 1964; rental $1.00 for the term; premises to be used for the purpose of installing and maintaining within said Port a Museum for historical exhibits; subject to prior rights of Willie T. Stewart, Lessee, under lease Audit No. 10250, covering lands of which said site is a part; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Asst. Secretary Rigdon in executing on behalf of LVL&WCo. deed, Audit No. 4708, dated November 18, 1944, conveying to Jackson D, Moore, Sr-. Lots 13 and 14, Block 5, Tract 1867, Yermo, California; -3-
