    Las Vegas - October 1?, 1951 Mr. Reinhardt: Concerning the recent newspaper article concerning a study made by Ralph W. Ocelli, Consulting Engineer, of the possibility of water being furnished to the Las Vegas Valley Water District from existing pipe line and facilities serving the B.M.l. plant at Henderson. I am attaching for your information a copy of : 1. Mr. 0*Helll's con&Snsed report g. Review by Mr. James M* Montgomery - . _ . _ 5. Letter from Mr. O'Heill to Mr. Charles P. (Pop) Squires, an old time resident of Las Vegas 4. Mr. Squires Press and Radio Release A preliminary meeting has been arranged for October IS between the Water District, the B.M.l. lessees, and CM to discuss the report, but there are rumors that some, of the lesees are not favorable to the proposal* Mr. Maxfield is known around Las Vegas as a promoter of minning ventures, but I have been unable to ascertain what private capital he represents. 'He has, however stated to the Water District representatives, he can secure private capital that will finance the project at 2>% on a commission basis. Will advise results of tomorrow's meeting. W.
