RUDER & FINN INCORPORATED 130 EAST FIFTY NINTH STREET, NEW YORK 22, N. Y. PLAZA 9-1800 January 18, 1957 Mr. A1 Freeman 9508 Wilshire Boulevard Beverly Hills, California Dear Al: Many thanks for your very nice letter of January 8th. Needless to say, I was glad that when I asked how you were doing you were able to give me such a terrific answer. Needless to say, I appreciate the courtesies which you will extend to my mother when she visits the Sands on April 17th and 18th. I will be sure to let you know the exact time of her arrival, as you requested. As one gentleman to another, I won?╟╓t argue about the arrangements that you made. I will leave it like this: if ever I can be of any help to you, please let me know. And I will make you promise one thing: that if ever you get to New York, you will let me know so that I can be as hospitable to jou as you have been to me and will be to ny mother. I envy you that wonderful warm climate out West, since, as you have undoubtedly read in the newspapers, we have been having some really "cool" weather here in the East. On the other hand, I can?╟╓t say that I have too much to complain about, since I was lucky enough to go down to Palm Beach, Florida, on business last week and managed to take a few days?╟╓ vacation to bask in their warm sunshine. The only trouble is that when I came back to New York, it was that much more of an uncomfortable contrast. Thanks again for everything, and I hope to see you in the not-too- distant future.
