Bennett Supplementing ay letters July If and July 21, and reference to Mr. Bennett’s letter July 21, file 80*5, regarding the present restrictions on lawn sprinkling. At a late hour Friday, the Special Committee appointed were unable to agree on what hours the sprinkling restrictions should be changed to and what method of voluntary allocation should be adopted. They finally decided to lift all sprinkling restrictions and asked the public to, "Fleas* not use so much water.11 We have learned from experience what the rseult will be on pressures with the peak demand la July and August. The local papers indicated these restrictions were removed effective Monday (to-day), but X got In touoh with the Mayor and had him correct this Impression as no such action Is effsctlvs until formally approved by the City Commission. It appears, therefore, that sprinkling restrictions will be lifted effective August 1, for a test period of 15 days. A. H. Folger
