Jameson 125 No. Eleventh St. Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Harry: You will recall that I was out to call on you some time ago in connection with an application the Las Vegas Land and Water Company filed for authority to amend its rules so it might he authorized to make no new extensions of water mains after the out-off date. The Commission has now Issued its Order, copy of which I enclose for your information, that the cut-off date is December 1, 1951 and setting a hearing on January 22, 1952, to determine whether the interim order should be made final or modified. I would like very much to have you testify in that hearing, your testimony to be along the lines of that given by you in Case No. 1207, hearing on which was held in Las Vegas on September 20th and 21st. I imagine Howard Cannon has a copy of the transcript in that case if you want to read your testimony. You will recall that in that case you testified first for the City and then were called by the Water Company. Your testimony as a witness for the City related primarily to the Searles Welland also you mentioned briefly the Rogers-Smith and Killer Wells. I believe you told me, when we discussed this matter, that you make a monthly check of some twenty or thirty wells and I assume you had those checks brought down to some definite date and that they would show a decline in the water level of the wells in question. In your testimony in the early hearing, you said you had a graph showing a decline of the water level of 1941 to August, 1950 and I would be glad to have you bring that graph down to date. I believe this graph covered fifteen wells along the basin. You also testified to the withdrawal in acre feet from the valley and I presume you could bring that testimony down to date.
