    Commissioner Moore moved the foregoing renewal gaming licenses be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. ADDITIONAL - gaming Commissioner Whipple moved the application of the Las Vegas Club, 18 Fremont for one additional crap table and the El Cortez Casino for twenty additional slot machines be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. LIQUOR LICENSE Commissioner Peccole moved that pursuant to the favorable recommendation of the Police House of Steaks Department the application of Malcolm Quelch, House of Steaks, 1509 South 5th Street for a Retail Restaurant Beverage license, for the first and second quarters of 1950 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore,Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. RENEWALS - liquor Commissioner Moore moved the application of Park Market, R. W. Eldredge, 424 North 5th for a Retail Beverage and Patsy's Restaurant, Pearl B. & Helen Keller, 1039 South Main for a Retail Restaurant Beverage, renewals for the second quarter of 1950 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. NEW - liquor Commissioner Moore moved the application for Robert and Abe Kroloff for a Retail Tavern Liquor License at 117 North 1st be granted. PROPOSED ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 211 OF THE CITY OF LAS Water VEGAS ENTITLED: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT THE WASTE OF WATER; DEFINING WASTE-OF WATER; REGULATING THE USE THEREOF; LIMITING THE TIME DURING WHICH WATER MAY BE USED FOR SPRINKLING OR IRRIGATION, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH"; ALSO REFERRED TO AS CHAPTER 37, SECTION 7 OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, AND TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 302 ENTITLED: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REGULATE THE USE OF WATER IN WOODLAND PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS BETWEEN THE MONTHS OF MAY 15 AND SEPTEMBER 15, INCLUSIVE: AND DEFINING THE REGULATION OF WATER; REGULATING THE USE THEREOF; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH", also known as CHAPTER 37, SECTIONS 8 and 9 OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Moore and Whipple for recommendation. CITY DUMP Commissioner Bunker moved the proposal of the City Manager to move the City Dump be approved and the City Manager authorized to negotiate an agreement for same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. SEWER CONNECTION Commissioner Whipple moved the matter of North Las Vegas connecting to the City's North Las Vegas Sewage Treatment Plant be referred to the City Manager for investigation and report. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. DEMAND - Denied Commissioner Bunker moved the Claim of Marie Coleman for injuries received in a Marie Coleman fall on the sidewalk, be denied and Mrs. Coleman's attorney notified. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
